Guittard Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is my favorite recipe for homemade chocolate chip cookies... and I've tried many!
I (okay my husband) found the recipe on the back of the package of Guittard Semisweet Chocolate Chips.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups of unsifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups of Guittard chocolate chips (found them at Winco)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light.  Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.  Gradually add flour mixture until combined.  Stir in chips.

Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls unto ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown.
